Frankincense Face Serum
This dropper bottle contains my handcrafted facial serum, made with care using only natural and organic ingredients. The base is jojoba oil infused with pure frankincense resin for 96 hours to capture its rejuvenating properties, then blended with organic vitamin E oil for added nourishment and antioxidant benefits. This frankincense resin contain Boswellia Serrata that is not found in essential oils that can reduce redness, swelling and irritation making it beneficial for sensitive or acne prone skin. It also promotes skin regeneration by stimulating cell renewal and supports collagen production.
I personally use this serum every morning and evening—applying it first, before my day cream or night balm—to help lock in moisture and promote a healthy, radiant glow.
✨ Tip: For best results, apply the serum before your creams.

Benefits:
1. Anti-inflammatory & soothing
• Studies show that frankincense essential oil (FREO) can modulate biomarkers of inflammation in human skin fibroblasts.
• It therefore may help reduce redness, irritation, or flares of sensitive skin.
• Because inflammation plays a role in many skin concerns (acne, eczema, aging) this benefit is meaningful.
2. Antimicrobial / antibacterial
• It has antimicrobial properties, which suggest it may help with skin issues involving bacteria (for example, acne-prone skin).
• For example, one skincare blog notes that frankincense “regulates overproduction of sebum … helps to prevent clogged pores and spots.”
3. Astringent / toning / skin-texture improvement
• Frankincense is described as having astringent qualities (which can help tighten pores, firm the skin, reduce appearance of imperfect texture).
• Some blogs mention improved skin tone, reduced fine lines and wrinkles, better elasticity.
4. Anti-aging / collagen / tissue-remodeling support
• Research points to FREO affecting tissue-remodelling pathways and gene expression in skin cells.
• It may help protect against UV-related aging (in early studies) and promote firmer skin.
• One blog says it may “boost collagen production … plump the skin … decrease visible signs of ageing.”
5. Suitability for various skin types
• According to a skincare blog, frankincense suits dry, sensitive, oily and combination skin — due to its balancing, calming, and oil-regulating properties.
